I love your story about the stage musical! Of COURSE they memorised all of it. I remember a documentary, years ago, that looked at the young American fandom. For some reason the bit that stayed in my mind the most was when some fans were chatting amongst themselves about the crew in the credits. Someone said, "Hazel Pethig," and the others all chorused, "Hazel Pethi-i-ig YAAAAAYYYYY". It was just so endearing and adorable :-D
I'm impressed by your collection, too. It is clear that you are serious! I no longer have my copies of the holy texts, but do remember studying them as a teen, e.g. the Brand New Monty Python Bok (although I think I owned only the Papperbok version), reciting the wonderful LLAP-GOCH advert in its entirety, etc.
