(cool story bro on) When the actors were first rehearsing for the stage musical version, the director was astounded at how quickly they all learned their parts. One of them (don't remember who) told him, "Are you kidding? I've been "off-book" since I was fourteen!" There are just that many Holy Grail geeks and freak abounding. Hubs has been able to quote the whole thing since he was seventeen, because that's when the movie came out. We own a copy of The Screenplay of the Story of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, as well as a vinyl LP of the good bits, and the movie itself on both VHS and DVD. The script is falling apart at the binding. Our children could quote large chunks of it before they were even old enough that we'd actually let them watch it.
