I'll come as the Trojan Rabbit

...or maybe just a rabbit wearing a Trojan.
Our local movie theatre is kicking off a participatory-cinema series with Quote-Along Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I can hardly wait. And OK, I'm not so hard-core that I know all the lyrics to "Brave Sir Robin", but I do sort of adore this film. Plus the spouse is seriously gung ho! So, sounds like a date.
Here's the write-up:
Grab your coconuts and travel along with King Arthur's fearless Knights of the Round Table on their silly adventure. Prizes for costumes, and bevvies served at the concession stand. Answer our questions three on Saturday, December 10th.
So. Any ideas what I (we) should wear? Seriously I'm kind of leaning towards a minimalist witch hat and a small paper cone over the nose ... but I'm up for other suggestions.
Hit me!
ETA: If I had a cat, and the cat liked Monty Python too, it could wear this.

Re: currently my only Python icon...
Date: 2011-11-27 05:22 am (UTC)True. Not to mention the mouse organ sketch.
You could be right about dogs, but now you've got me puzzling over something. Do any dogs appear in any Python skits? No, not penguins: DOGS. I can't think of any... but then, my Python IQ is not what it was. *hangs head shamefacedly*
Re: currently my only Python icon...
Date: 2011-11-27 05:25 am (UTC)There's a sketch where they're eating dog and I think dogs show up a few times in the animations... Erm... is there a dog in The Bicycle Repairman sketch?
Greyhounds are coming to mind too for some reason.

Not that I know of?
There's an [invisible] terrier in a basket in the Pet Conversions sketch, though <333 *is happy*

Date: 2011-11-27 05:41 am (UTC)Aha! See, One of the Supermans is walking a dog.
That's sort of how I remember most dog appearances in MP, that they're more an indicator of "normal every day life" rather than the exact subject of a sketch.
Re: currently my only Python icon...
Date: 2011-11-27 05:48 am (UTC)Seriously, I'd forgotten how wonderful this sketch is.
*cough* And of course you're right about the dog. *loves Drayce to pieces*
Re: currently my only Python icon...
Date: 2011-11-27 05:57 am (UTC)I'm a bit of a dog freak, so I always notice them. *g*
